PRE TREATMENT
Tie your hair back and keep it out of your face
Double cleanse your skin to ensure all makeup and products are fully removed. Removing every bit of oil, dirt, and residue is essential to prevent irritation or unwanted reactions during your treatment.
Make sure your hands and the area you’re using are clean. If you touch anything besides your skin or the device, like a bottle or brush, it could cross contaminate. Stick to just touching your face and the tool during the treatment.
Micro-Infusion Guide
10 Minutes Total, Every 1-2 Weeks
Step 1: Preparing the Serum Vial
Our serums are sealed with aluminum to ensure they stay sterile until you’re ready to use them. Follow these steps to open the vial:
1. Hold the vial firmly: Keep a steady grip on the body of the vial with one hand. Look for the arrow on the cap and flip it open from where the arrow points.
2. Break the seal: Once the seal is broken, carefully bend the silver part back until it almost snaps off.
3. Peel off the rest: Remove the remaining silver seal from the top of the vial and dispose of it.
4. Remove the rubber stopper: Take off the rubber stopper to access the serum.
If the cap came off without the metal you can use scissors to cut the sides and pull it off (watch your hands!)
Now you’re ready to fill your Micro-Infusion device!
Step 2: Loading the Serum into the Micro-Infusion Device
1. Fill the Device: Pour the serum from the vial into the Micro-Infusion chamber. Screw on the needle head. Don't screw on the head too tightly! You want to keep the needle head slightly loose where there is some airflow (but not enough for serum to leak), this will ensure that the serum flows properly.
2. Flip It Upside Down: Turn the device upside down and let it sit for 2 minutes. This allows the serum to flow into the needle chamber for smooth application.
Step 3: Priming the Needles
1. Gently press to prime: Keep the device upside down and lightly press the center pin of the needle head onto a clean, hard surface (like the side of the cap). This is like ‘pumping’ the device.
2. Look for bubbles: You should see tiny bubbles forming in the vial, which shows that the serum is beginning to flow. Keep pressing until the serum reaches the needle tips.
Step 4: Applying the Serum to Your Skin
1. Tap, don’t press: Gently tap the device onto your skin. Don’t press too hard—light taps are all you need for the serum to be infused properly.
2. Cover your face evenly: Use a 50% overlap technique to ensure every area of your face gets treated twice for best results. 50% overlap means you tap one spot on your face/neck, then on the next tap you will tap 50% of the previous spot and 50% of the new spot.
Step 5: What to Do With Leftover Serum
If you have any serum left in the vial after your microneedling treatment:
• Use it up: Unscrew the top and apply any remaining serum to your face and neck with clean hands. This way, none of your precious serum goes to waste!
HOW TO GET BEST RESULTS
10 Minutes Total, Every Week.
You have purchased the Glov Beauty entry-level kit, which includes infusion systems (with microneedles) and serums.
Let us clarify how this kit is designed to be used for the best results:
1. Microneedling Treatment: Use one serum with each microneedling treatment. During the needling session, the serum is applied and absorbed as the needles create microchannels in your skin, allowing for deeper penetration.
2. After-Treatment Serums: Following the microneedling session, your skin has significantly increased absorption capabilities. This heightened absorption lasts for about 24-48 hours, though it is most intense within the first 12-24 hours. This is why the kit includes additional serums to use on these days—because the skin will absorb more of the active ingredients than it typically would.
• First Microneedle Treatment: Use the first serum during your microneedling session. Use the 50% overlap method on your face and neck. Any leftover serum rub in your face and neck with clean hands.
• 12 Hours Later: After about 12 hours, apply a full serum on your face with your hands.
• Another 12 Hours Later: Another full serum application with your clean hands around the 24-hour mark after your initial treatment.
3. Repeat After One Week: You can perform another microneedling session a week later with the second infusion system, following the same pattern.
By using the serums on days with heightened absorption, you get the most benefit from each serum, making the most of your kit.
For ongoing treatments, you may choose to order extra needles if you plan to continue the microneedling sessions while you still have leftover serums.
You can purcahse the sterilized needles on their own here: https://glovbeauty.com/products/micro-infusion-headers-kit.
POST-TREATMENT GUIDELINES
Please follow these steps after your treatment to get the best results and protect your skin.
DON’T WASH YOUR FACE RIGHT AWAY
• Don’t wash your face for the rest of the day after treatment.
SKIP MAKEUP
• Avoid using makeup for 24 hours. If you need to wear makeup, choose one that’s safe for sensitive skin.
STAY OUT OF THE SUN
• Try to avoid direct sunlight for 24-48 hours after your treatment.
• Use sunscreen if you go outside, and make sure it’s a gentle, non-irritating type.
AVOID SOME SKINCARE PRODUCTS
• Don’t use any skincare products with strong ingredients like acids, retinol (Vitamin A), Vitamin C, or scrubs for at least 2-3 days. They can make your skin more sensitive.
NO EXFOLIATING
• Don’t use any scrubs or exfoliating products for 2-3 days. They can be too rough on your skin after the treatment.
POST-TREATMENT TIPS
After you’ve infused your skin with all those great ingredients, keep it clean for 24 hours and follow these steps to protect and boost your results
CLEAN AND MOISTURIZE
• The day after treatment, gently wash your face with a mild cleanser and apply a hydrating moisturizer to keep your skin soft.
AVOID MAKEUP
• Try to skip makeup for at least 24 hours. If you really need to use it, choose something made for sensitive or post-treatment skin.
AVOID HARSH PRODUCTS
• Your skin absorbs more easily after micro-infusion, so avoid using products with acids or strong ingredients. Stick to gentle skincare for a few days.
REDUCE REDNESS
• It’s normal to have some redness or irritation right after treatment. This should go away soon. Keep your skin moisturized to calm it down and prevent tightness.
AVOID SWEATING
• No heavy workouts or sweating for 24 hours. Sweat and gym environments can cause irritation and increase the risk of infection.
AVOID POOLS
• Skip swimming, saunas, or steam rooms for 24 hours to avoid irritation from chlorine and other chemicals.
DON’T TOUCH
• Try not to touch your face, especially if your hands aren’t clean. This helps keep your skin free from bacteria.
GET READY!
• Expect to see results in just 2-3 days. Your skin is on its way to looking even better!
Product Care, Cleaning, & FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will I see results, and how long will results last?
You should notice the first results pretty quickly—often within a day or two. Expect your skin to look brighter, smoother, and more refreshed right away.
The more you use it, the better the results will be. Typically, results can last around 3-4 months, depending on how many treatments you do. It’s perfect for giving your skin a boost before a big event!
To make the results last even longer, keep up with your regular skincare routine to keep your skin healthy, hydrated, and glowing.
How often can I do the treatment?
We recommend using the micro-infusion treatment every 1-2 weeks to see the best results!
Why does my kit have less needles than serums?
If you purchased a Glov Beauty entry-level kit, it includes infusion systems (with microneedles) and serums.
Let us clarify how this kit is designed to be used for the best results:
1. Microneedling Treatment: Use one serum with each microneedling treatment. During the needling session, the serum is applied and absorbed as the needles create microchannels in your skin, allowing for deeper penetration.

When is the best time to do micro-infusion?
We recommend doing the treatment at night before bed. Try to avoid the sun and skip makeup for 24 hours afterward to let your skin recover fully.
What are the benefits of micro-infusion?
The tiny needles and stamping action of the micro-infusion device kickstart your skin’s natural healing process, helping to boost collagen and elastin. This makes your skin look firmer and helps soften fine lines.
The fine needles create tiny channels that allow the serum to go deeper into your skin, so the ingredients work more effectively.
A few more benefits:
• More even skin tone and texture
• A fresh, glowing complexion
• Softer fine lines
• Firmer, rejuvenated skin
How do I use the Glov Micro-Infusion System?
Here’s how to get your Glov Micro-Infusion System ready for the perfect treatment:
1. Load the Serum: Place the serum into the vial and tightly screw on the needle head. Put the cap back on to avoid spills.
2. Flip It: Turn the vial upside down and let it sit for 2 minutes. This allows the serum to fill the needle chamber properly.
3. Get It Flowing: With the vial still upside down, gently press the center of the needle head on a clean, flat surface (like the cap). Pump it a few times until you see tiny bubbles in the vial and the serum reaches the needle tips.
4. Start Tapping: Tap the device lightly on your skin—no need to press hard! The serum should come out smoothly.
5. Don’t Waste a Drop: If there’s any serum left in the vial after your session, unscrew the top and apply the remaining serum to your skin with clean fingers.
There is a lot of serum left over, can I save it for another treatment?
One vial is meant for a single treatment session. When using it, make sure to overlap each stamp by about 50%, so every area of your skin gets the serum.
Try to keep the serum at the tip of the needles while stamping to ensure it flows correctly. You might need to adjust the angle of your face slightly as you go.
Feel free to do 2-3 passes over your face, or focus more on specific areas that need extra attention, like fine lines around your mouth or eyes.
Once you’re done, take any leftover serum from the vial and pat it onto your face and neck. Leave it on overnight to let your skin soak up all the goodness!
How do I open the serum vial?
Our serums are sealed with aluminum to keep them sterile until you’re ready to use them.
1. Hold the body of the vial firmly with one hand. Find the arrow on the cap and flip open from where the arrow points.
2. After breaking the seal, bend the silver seal back slowly until it almost snaps off.
3. Peel away the rest of the silver seal from the top of the vial and throw it away.
4. Remove the rubber stopper and pour the serum into your Micro-Infusion device.
If the cap came off without the metal you can use scissors to cut the sides and pull it off (watch your hands!)
What does 50% overlay mean?
50% overlay means that each time you stamp, you overlap the previous stamp by half. This way, every part of your face gets stamped at least twice for even coverage.
Why isn’t the serum coming out of the device when I’m stamping?
Make sure the serum is at the end of the device where the needles are. Try tilting your head back or angling the device slightly upward to help the serum flow through the needles.
Another trick is to loosen the needle head slightly so that there will be some airflow (but not enough for serum to spill) so that the serum can flow freely.

Can I micro-infuse around the eyes?
Yes, you can! Just be very gentle and use light pressure when stamping around the eye area. Only do 1 pass, and watch your skin closely since everyone’s skin can react differently.
Can I treat my neck?
Yes! Using the Micro-Infusion on your neck can help reduce fine lines and rejuvenate the skin. It’s great for tackling neck creases, horizontal lines, and signs of aging, making the skin look smoother, firmer, and more youthful.

- Targeted Use Only: Only use the GLOV Micro-Infusion device on the facial areas specified in this guide. Avoid using it on sensitive zones or areas with active skin conditions.
- Treatment Frequency: Limit micro-infusion sessions to a maximum of two times per week to prevent skin sensitivity or over-treatment.
